We are seeking an Assistant Trust Administrator to join our growing Trust team.
Work with the Trust Administration team to support the Trust and Estate Administration process, including client communication, handling of deposit and disbursement requests, bill payment, preparation of required trust and estate notices, medical and Medicare issues, gathering tax information, preparation of Discretionary Distribution forms and backup for Trust Administrators when they are unavailable
Interact with clients, attorneys and accountants as appropriate to assist the Trust Administrators in the handling of their trusts and estates
Assist the Trust Administrators in the settlement process for estates and trust estates
Responsible for the asset transfer function for assigned accounts for the Trust Administration team
Serve as the backup for the Preparation of Court Accountings for Estates, Trusts, Power of Attorney Accounts and Guardianships, following Uniform Fiduciary Accountings guidelines
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform additional duties as required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
Trust, Estate or Paralegal experience strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Ability to work independently, following guidelines and procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within deadlines
Ability to communicate pleasantly and professionally with employees, clients and attorneys
Professional attitude and willingness to work together with a team toward common goals
