  • Responsibilities

    60% --Responsible for classroom and in-branch training and development of new and existing Consumer Staff using the standards established for all customer interactions.

     

    Conduct operational visits to the FSCs as needed to reinforce staff duties, and operations, policies and procedures.

     

    20%--Responsible for design, development and delivery of new Consumer initiatives, including the updating of the Teller course curriculum, training manuals, Head Teller manual, Career Path Certification testing and online certification questions for tellers, as well as developing ideas for changes in the curriculum.

     

    10%--Responsible to assist with the Support Phone Line by answering operational teller-related questions from internal employees, including Reg. CC processes, delivering excellent customer service by following corporate service guidelines and documenting the interactions according to department specifications, when not previously scheduled for classroom or in-branch training assignments.

     

    10%--Work alongside other Consumer Trainers to schedule, monitor, evaluate, all training requirements including annual compliance and product training.

     

    Perform additional duties as required

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum 3 years Branch Manager experience preferred; AIB Principles of Banking credit preferred; previous experience with teller and platform problem resolution with proper results required

     

    Ability to work accurately, deal with deadlines, and prioritize workload; strong organizational skills

     

    Excellent oral communication for classroom, one-on-one training and phone interactions

     

    Deep knowledge and understanding of all bank procedures and settlements; accountability for following and educating all check cashing procedures and other security measures

     

    Strong knowledge of Univest products and services; ability to identify customers’ needs and offer financial solutions

     

    Neat, professional appearance and demeanor at all times; ability to supervise and counsel trainees on professional conduct during the training time

     

    Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
