  • Overview

    Responsible for leading the sales and service function for designated Financial Service Center (FSC). This will include sales leadership, tracking individual results, metrics, pipeline management with coaching and developing sales skills of branch staff and business development in their market.     Responsibilities

    70% Manage Financial Service Center Responsible for the supervision of teller and platform staff including the full review process of establishing performance expectations (goals), and the completion and delivery of evaluations Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Univest Code of Conduct, and ensuring adherence to all bank policies and security procedures including dual control Responsible to uphold the operational scorecard standards of the office Generate and maintain expected sales and performance goals Monitors and maintains profitability components in which there is direct control by the manager and staff Coach and mentor platform staff on sales and service expectations Coach and mentor tellers to ensure use of customer service standards and meeting teller awareness expectations Facilitates open and clear communication at consistent weekly meetings with staff Interviews employees for branch openings Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct Other duties as assigned and responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct 30% Small Business Calling Service new and existing small business customers assigned to the branch with the goal to retain and develop system lock-in by evaluating cross selling opportunities for other deposits, loans, insurance, investments and mortgages Identify and develop prospective leads for new business for FSC, cultivate existing business relationships to obtain additional business and referrals Develop and maintain an active Main Street prospect/customer list in CRM Represents the bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance the bank’s reputation while developing additional opportunities for business. HOURS: Must be able to work any of the hours of operation that a location is open Must be able to work a minimum of two Saturdays per month

    Qualifications

    Demonstrated sales, leadership and supervisory experience required Basic knowledge of consumer lending and credit processes preferred Ability to work in an accurate and organized manner to effectively manage related-job pressures and deadlines Teller and/or SSR experience preferred Strong knowledge of Univest products and services Gregarious, social individual with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Neat, professional appearance This position is a designated notary for the branch. Must be willing to complete necessary training requirements Ability to coach and develop staff
