    Responsibilities

    Client Payroll Specialist:

    We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who will provide World Class Service to our clients that result in client satisfaction and long term retention. As a Client Payroll Specialist for Univest HRC team you will be responsible for the preparation, process and disbursement of weekly, bi-weekly & semi-monthly payrolls using ADP Work Force Now and other payroll provider which entails the following:

     

    • Administer full cycle payroll processing in a multiple client, multiple state environment (from data entry through full gross to net processing and end of cycle reporting)
    • Extensive QA and auditing to ensure accuracy. The quality of our people and processing is a key to differentiating us from other providers.
    • Acting as single point of contact for all client payroll related inquiries (e.g. wage verifications, garnishments, taxes, vacation accruals, reports, etc.).
    • Keep HRIS/Payroll System up to date with any and all employer and system changes from the Client.
    • Keep HRIS/Payroll system up to date with any and all employee changes from the client.
    • Act as liaison between client and HRIS/Payroll System provider
    • Works closely with clients on all payroll related issues.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.
    • Participate in projects as needed to develop and implement improvements to payroll processing
    • Collaborate with team members

    Qualifications

    Qualifications/Experience/Skills

    • 3-5 years of multi-corporation, multi-state payroll OR equivalent experience in the areas of customer service, payroll, human resources, or other relevant work experience
    • Flexible schedule is ideal, because payroll processing days can be longer
    • Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite of software
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Be a self-starter who can prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
    • Must possess critical thinking skills and enjoy problem solving
    • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
    • A comfort level with change, the ability to adapt to change and the ability to recover quickly from adversity
    • Positive, Energetic and great with clients
    • Proven customer skills and relationship building
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Self-Confident and Professional
    • Strong Work Ethic
    • Be able to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency

     

     

    Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

    • Familiarity with HR, payroll technology and payroll processes
    • FPC or CPP Certifications
