Responsible for serving the bank’s customers from the teller line by completing a variety of financial transactions following technical and operational guidelines. This position will continue to develop knowledge in the features and benefits of the deposit product offerings, how customer experience service is delivered, and how to make referrals to the appropriate bank personnel regarding other products and offerings of the bank. This position functions under the direct supervision of the Head Teller.
60% Branch Operations • Perform all teller transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately • Adhere to all procedures including operational guidelines, customer service standards, check cashing procedures, and all security measures. • Maintain Operational Scorecard results above 85% • Provide friendly, courteous, professional customer service • Support Customer Experience Initiatives • Achieve and maintain MOSAIC scores above 90% • Assist supervisors to look for ways to decrease expenses and increase branch profitability • Keep cash differences and POB entries within expected levels • Learn other branch duties such as ATM settlement, coin counter settlement, cash dispenser settlement, and cash advance machine. • Perform other duties as assigned 40% Branch Sales • Participate in various training and development programs • Assist branch in meeting assigned branch goals • Assist in bank promotions by regularly participating in teller awareness • Identify customer needs and cross-sell opportunities to meet goals • Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and services • Learn to effectively apply teller sales flow procedures
Teller I Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalency certificate • Good Written/verbal communication skills • Good organizational, mathematical and computer skills • Completed Teller Trainee requirements or have previous bank experience • Neat, professional appearance • Experience with various office machines (photocopier, fax) • Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct. • Satisfactory level of attendance Hours - flexibility needed within bank hours of operations.
