Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new business prospects selling Cash Management solutions. Identify and solicit RFP opportunities for Univest Cash Management services, coordinate bid response and proposal generation.
Actively creates a positive sales environment through education of clients about the Bank’s products and services; investigates and follows-up on significant changes in status of existing customers.
Participate in team meetings and pipeline reviews. Complete associated tracking for sales and revenue results.
Contribute to various Univest social media efforts to promote cash management services.
Attend client meetings to perform in-depth analyses of their cash management services. Create proposals, recommendations, and solutions to provide option to increase efficiencies. Cross sell additional cash management and card services to increase fee income.
Strive to achieve and exceed established sales goals for cash management fee income. Be able to think outside the box to look for opportunities to increase sales with existing customers and prospects.
Maintain a strong knowledge of cash management services in the banking industry. Stay current on products/trends.
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Ability to generate new annualized fee income in excess of $400,000 and net new deposits of $30 million.
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree and ten+ years related banking experience, Certified Treasury Professional preferred, but not required.
Strong understanding of all cash management commercial deposit products/services including the operational aspects and terminology.
In-depth knowledge of the complex treasury/analysis statements with the proven ability to provide product recommendations including upselling of additional fee income services.
Ability to confidently present cash management products and services to prospects.
Excellent sales skills to exceed revenue/fee income goals by using a consultative sales approach.
Technology skills including WebEx, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com and various vendor platforms.
Ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
Professional communication skills and understanding of inter-department operations.
