    Girard Partners, Ltd., a Univest Wealth Management Company is located in King of Prussia, PA. We provide investment and wealth management services to high net worth clientele on a fee only basis. We are seeking for immediate hire a Wealth Advisor Associate, a position arising from our continued growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in and knowledge of finance, economics, global capital markets, along with a record of academic excellence and professional drive. Day to day, this position will be highly involved with our portfolio management team conducting investment research and servicing HNW client relationships. The responsibilities of this role expand over time as the Wealth Advisor Associate gains experience in the role, learns firm investment due diligence processes, and becomes familiar with client relationship management.

    Responsibilities

    • Possess a high degree of financial acumen as well as an understanding of the basic tenets of personal investment management; • Become a pivotal member of portfolio management team, regularly researching and reporting on market, economic, and fund events; • Responsible for regularly scheduled relationship reviews of client portfolios, making recommendations to the Wealth Advisors, execution of recommendations; • Build a trusted relationship with clients by having the capability and assurance to provide comprehensive, tailored investment recommendations; • Assist with sales and marketing efforts of Wealth Advisors and provide internal support; • Perform additional duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or comparable technical field or equivalent work experience with 1-3 years of investment industry experience preferred; • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, experience working in a highly detail oriented environment; • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial corporate culture; • Obtain required securities licenses within the required time frame; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
