  • Responsibilities

    Serve as direct supervisor for Deposit Operations area, including but not limited to monthly one-on-one meetings & annual review process

     

    Responsible for overseeing the processing, tracking and records for all tax reporting functions, this includes but is not limited to annual tax reporting, any necessary corrections and reprinting of tax documents for Deposits, IRAs & Health Savings Accounts

     

    Responsible for overseeing annual compliance with missing W9s, W8s and updating CIFs appropriately per IRS guidelines

     

    Responsible for overseeing Easy Escrow account openings and maintaining the necessary records for department compliance

     

    Responsible for overseeing the daily balancing of all deposit, CD, general ledger, ARP & official check account settlements

     

    Responsible for overseeing all NSF & Non-Post related functions

     

    Responsible for overseeing all IRA & Health Savings Account functions, including but not limited to account openings and maintaining the necessary records to ensure compliance

     

    Responsible for overseeing all Records Retention functions, including but not limited to Writs, Subpoenas, Levies, Warrants & record requests

     

    Support the following functions as needed: CIF and account file maintenance, Safe Deposit Box maintenance and billing issues, CD rate variance reporting, interest rate exceptions, etc

     

    Provide leadership and work closely with the Deposit Support Supervisor to ensure both areas of the department are working effectively as a team

     

    Compile area statistic and evaluation reports to be distributed to the department Manager

     

          Organize and complete onboarding and training of new team members

     

    Provide support to other departments as required and serve as decision maker relating to operational matters

     

    Provide additional support and training as required to FC staff to ensure a consistent understanding of operational requirements

     

    Responsible to assist as liaison between auditors and the department Manager for Deposit Operations related requests

     

    Manage any vendor relationship associated with Deposit Operations

     

          Lead special projects as assigned by Manager

     

    Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

     

    Perform additional duties as required

     

    HOURS:                                Monday to Friday          8:00am to 5:00pm

    Qualifications

     

    High School Diploma or GED equivalent

     

    5+ years banking experience

     

    Leadership experience required

     

    Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines

     

    Banking & deposit product knowledge essential

     

    Knowledge of Deposit Regulations

     

    Excellent customer service and communication skills

     

    Strong problem solving skills

     

    Knowledge of Jack Henry, Synergy, Argo preferred

     

    Proficient with PC, Excel, Word & Power Point
