Overview

This position will be responsible for the supervision of the tellers. In addition, will coordinate and participate in the completion of financial transactions by following technical and operational guidelines. The incumbent actively participates in retail sales programs, teller awareness campaigns and leads the sales process on the teller line. The position functions under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

50% Branch Operations

 

Responsible for supervising all aspects of the teller line including scheduling

 

Perform all branch settlements

 

Process all corrections and large item returns

 

Monitor all teller activities to insure achieving office profitability goals

 

Monitor teller activities to achieve high ratings on Operational Scorecard

 

Perform all Teller transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately

 

Perform other duties as assigned

 

Responsible for all aspects of branch audit & controls 

 

30% Sales Leadership & Coaching

 

 

Provide assistance and input regarding teller performance evaluations and the setting of teller goals

 

Train and develop individual to act as back up head teller

 

Motivate and coach tellers to work as part of the sales team to achieve and exceed goals

 

Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with staff

 

Hold 5 minute meetings daily

 

Provide friendly, courteous, professional customer experience service

 

Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to meet referral goals

 

20% Sales /Platform

 

 

Perform duties of Sales and Service Rep when needed

Qualifications

High School diplomacy or equivalency

 

Fulfilled requirements of Teller I, Teller II, Teller III or related experience

 

Strong knowledge of Univest products and services.

 

Previous supervisory experience

 

Good written/verbal communication skills

 

Good organizational, mathematical and computer skills

 

Previous cash handling or customer service experience

 

Neat professional appearance

 

Satisfactory level of attendance

 

 HOURS: Monday - Wednesday 8am - 4pm Thursday 8an - 5 pm Friday 8am - 6pm Sat 9am - 1pm
