Girard Partners, Ltd. is a boutique wealth management firm located in King of Prussia, PA. We provide investment management and wealth management services to a high net worth clientele on a fee only basis. We are seeking for immediate hire a Senior Client Service Associate. The Senior Client Service Associate is responsible for client operations which can include responding to client inquires, processing client onboarding paperwork and other ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in finance or accounting, have strong attention to detail and be process oriented. The successful candidate will also be patient and courteous under pressure, always providing a high level of client service.


  • Responsible for proactively responding to client requests, anticipating issues related to the requests, and finding solutions
  • Process onboarding paperwork, as well as periodic paperwork including, but not limited to, account updates, address changes, and beneficiary updates.
  • Monitor, review and process service messages sent by custodians.
  • Provide ongoing support as needed to insure the quality and reliability of data processed in the portfolio accounting system, perform system maintenance to identify and purge closed accounts and maintenance existing accounts.
  • Prepare initial onboarding paperwork such as new account forms and transfer paperwork.
  • Work with custodian and counter parties to assure efficient transfer of accounts.      
  • Set up clients in portfolio accounting and CRM system.
  • Assist with statements and billing
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations (both internal and external) that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an operational or client servicing role in financial services field
  • Knowledge of general securities industry terminology and practices
  • Familiarity with varying financial account types – individual, joint, IRA, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
  • Adaptable to new technology
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) and organizational skills with the ability to work cooperatively with internal and external customers while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
  • Experience with database management systems strongly preferred
